Applications
are being accepted now through July 19, 2013 on a first come, first serve
basis. Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- A house must be a single family dwelling located within the City of Elyria
- The applicant must be the owner of the home, must live in the home as a primary permanent residence and have working utilities
- The applicant must provide proof of home ownership, active home insurance and paid property taxes
- Total household income must be at or below 50% of the area median income – income documentation is required

Street Repair Program list this week that includes the following streets:
- Cambridge Avenue from Prospect Street to Garford Avenue
- Colgate Avenue from Park Avenue to University Avenue
- Canterbury Court from Whitman Boulevard to cul-de-sac
- Canterbury Court from Windsor Drive to Whitman Boulevard
- Crestview Drive (asphalt portion only)
- Fourth Street from Middle Avenue to West Avenue
- Chadwick Drive
- Lowell Street from Huron Street past Penfield
- Beebe Avenue from Poplar to cul-de-sac
- Bennett Drive east of Georgetown
- West River Road – Griswold to 57 joint sealing
- Underwater bridge inspection services
- Intersection safety improvements (crosswalks& signals) as funds are available
