On Monday, July 10, 2017 at 7:00pm, The Lorain County Historical Society will host a program entitled "Elyria African American History," presented by Shirley Brown-Reeder at the Lorain County History Center (284 Washington Avenue). This is part of an ongoing series of historical programs presented as part of the City of Elyria's Bicentennial celebration, and will no doubt contain countless facts and stories from the rich history of our City that many of us will be hearing for the first time. As will all Bicentennial programs, this will be FREE and open to the public.
