A Thanksgiving Message from Elyria Mayor Holly Brinda

Another year is passing, and on behalf of the City of Elyria and all of our employees, we would like to express our most sincere appreciation to our residents, businesses, organizations and others for all of your support during this special season of Thanksgiving and all year long.

As volunteers work with our employees to help us prepare for the holidays here at City Hall, it is easy to remember how fortunate we are to live and work in this caring community.  There are so many wonderful people who go the extra mile to make Elyria a very special place to call home.  If you are an Elyrian, you are part of the Elyria family.  We take care of each other.

Your Mayor, and all of your city employees, recognize that we are here to serve you, the citizens.  Please know, we take this charge very seriously and make every attempt to carry out our duties with care, compassion, enthusiasm and great humility.  I feel privileged to work with the committed and hard-working City of Elyria employees every day, and we feel that same privilege serving the proud, hard-working citizens of Elyria.

The Holidays are just beginning, and I wish you all a wonderful season full of joy, hope, peace and some well-earned time with the people most important to you.

Happy Thanksgiving!
