Art, Fun, and Superheroes in Downtown Elyria!

The Elyria Arts Council is embracing the welcome Spring weather with a variety of fun, family-friendly activities for young and old alike at the Elyria Art Works, located at 336 Broad Street in Downtown Elyria. Their new speaker series kicks off Saturday, April 16th, 2016 form 1:00-3:00pm with an in depth visit from artist Howard Kerber, who will talk about and demonstrate different art materials, and explain how to use them, and what an amateur or expert should buy, and why. The demonstration will be free but free-will donations are welcome! Check out their Facebook page for more info.

The Art Works also released their list of upcoming classes. Many of these have sessions throughout the Spring and Summer, so plan ahead and have fun while you learn! Click here to see the schedule!

And don't forget, The Super Heroes to Kids in Ohio will return to Elyria on Friday, May 6th (at Atlas Cinema) and Saturday, May 7th in downtown Elyria!  Once again, dozens of Super Heroes and Super Kids (and a few Super Villains!) will descend upon our fine city, bringing FREE crafts, skits, FREE caricatures, FREE movie passes, FREE comics, and FREE food for the first 1000 people (courtesy of Lorenzo's Pizza).  Please join us on Saturday, May 7th from 12-3pm for an afternoon full of fun and adventure!  More information is on the flyer below, or click here for the full size version.
